Entire Beach Gang Session on 30A & Destin

  • When should I book?

The sooner, the better especially for sunset sessions.

There is only one sunset and one sunrise each day, and those time slots book up first. Many families reserve their session as soon as they confirm their vacation dates, especially for:

spring break, summer, holidays and long weekends

Last-minute openings do happen, but to have the best choice of dates and times, I recommend booking as soon as you know your travel plans.

  • Where in Florida do you shoot?

I photograph families at public beach access points and scenic coastal locations along 30A and the Emerald Coast, including Rosemary Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, Alys Beach, Seacrest, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Miramar Beach, Destin, and Panama City Beach.

Based on where your family is staying, I’ll recommend the closest (and prettiest) spots with great light, easy parking, and space for kids to run. Sunset and sunrise sessions are available, and we choose locations that match the style and feel of your vacation…whether that’s laid-back beach dunes, colorful coastal town centers, or quiet white-sand shoreline.

If you’re staying in a private community along 30A, I can guide you on access/permissions and help you select the best nearby location for a stress-free session.

  • How do we book a session for multiple families?

For extended family sessions (grandparents, cousins, siblings, etc.), each set of parents can book a half session, and I’ll photograph them back-to-back. This allows us to capture group shots as well as individual family portraits without rushing.

  • Do you come to our beach house or private rental?

schedule sessions back-to-back during peak seasons, so all clients meet me at the beach locations that work best for lighting, access, and parking. If you’re staying in a private community along 30A, I can guide you on access/permission options, some allow photography and some don’t.

  • What happens if we get rain during our session?

Florida weather moves fast on the coast and showers are typically brief and clear quickly. I watch the forecast leading up to your date, and if we need to adjust your session time (or occasionally swap days), we’ll do that. In seven years of shooting on 30A, I’ve only had two sessions fully rained out…flexibility and timing usually save the day!

  • Which photographer shoots my session?

Depending on the time of year and the session type, you’ll be photographed by either Lisa or Makayla, both shown throughout our portfolio. Our editing, posing, and color style remain consistent across the gallery so you always get the look we’re known for.

  • What should we wear for our photos?

I provide a clothing guide once your session is booked to help you style a look that photographs beautifully against the natural coastline. Romantic neutrals and relaxed elevated pieces pair best with the 30A aesthetic.

  • Do lighting or colors vary between session types? (Sunrise vs Sunset)

Yes, lighting changes dramatically throughout the day.
Sunrise tends to begin warm and ends cooler as the sun fully rises.
Sunset is warmer and more golden, with soft highlights just before dusk.

Color is always influenced by weather and the coast, which is part of the magic.

  • Do you guide posing?

Absolutely. I direct posing and movement so you feel relaxed and connected, while still capturing natural, unposed moments that show how your family loves each other.
