Seacrest Beach, Florida Photographer…Eastern 30A, South Walton County

Seacrest Beach is one of the quieter, more intimate communities along Scenic Highway 30A in Walton County, Florida… tucked between the iconic white-walled architecture of Alys Beach to the east and Rosemary Beach just a short stretch west. It's not the flashiest name on 30A, but photographers know it. The beach access here is less trafficked than the bigger names, the shoreline is wide and open, and the light during golden hour is absolutely stunning.

I'm Lisa Marie. I've been photographing sessions in Seacrest for over a decade, and it's one of those spots I genuinely love bringing families to especially the ones who want something that feels a little more laid-back and personal than the busier parts of the corridor.

Photography That Feels Like the Moment — Not a Trend

There's something about Seacrest that just breathes. Maybe it's the proximity to Alys Beach, that whole eastern corridor has a quieter, more intentional energy than the busier parts of 30A. Sessions here tend to feel easy and unhurried, and that shows up in the photos.

My style isn't light and airy. It isn't muted or filtered or overly styled. Seacrest Beach looks like emerald water, white sand, and skies that change by the minute, so that's exactly what I photograph. Bold, natural, and real. The kind of images that still feel like you ten years from now.

Seacrest Beach Family Photographer

As your Seacrest Beach family photographer, I'm not here to line everyone up and yell "smile!" I'm here to hang out with your family on one of the prettiest stretches of the Gulf Coast while quietly documenting everything that actually happens.

Seacrest is perfect for that. The beach isn't crowded. There's room to breathe, room for the kids to tear off toward the water, room for you to actually relax for a minute. Sessions flow at your family's pace…if the toddler wants to dig in the sand for ten minutes, we let her. That's usually where the best photos happen anyway.

Sunrise and sunset sessions are both available. Sunset brings the warm golden Gulf light that makes everything glow. Sunrise is quieter, cooler, and gives you a nearly empty beach, great if your crew is up early or if you just want that calm, unhurried feeling.

Seacrest Beach Senior Photographer

If you want senior portraits that actually look like you and not like every other senior portrait you've seen then Seacrest Beach is a great call. You've got the open Gulf, the natural dune textures, the long stretch of uncrowded shoreline, and the Alys Beach corridor right there as a backdrop if you want something with a little more architectural edge.

I keep senior sessions loose and low-pressure. We'll talk before we shoot, figure out what feels right for you, and go from there. Whether you're the type who wants to wade into the waves or you'd rather walk the shoreline while I work around you, it's your session. I'm just here to make sure the light and the energy are right.

Seacrest Beach Maternity Photography

There's a reason I love doing maternity sessions on the quieter eastern stretches of 30A. Less foot traffic, more space, and a kind of peaceful energy that just works for this season of life.

Seacrest Beach maternity sessions are unhurried and deeply personal. I'm not going to hand you a posed belly-cradle shot and call it done. We're going to walk, breathe, let the light do its thing, and make images that actually capture how powerful this moment is, not just how it looks, but how it feels to be standing on that beach, carrying that baby, with that person beside you.

Seacrest Beach Engagement Photographer

The best engagement photos aren't the ones where you're both staring intensely at the camera. They're the ones where you forgot I was there.

Seacrest Beach is a good place for that to happen, it's relaxed, it's beautiful, and it doesn't feel like a photo set. I give couples just enough direction to keep things flowing, then step back and let the chemistry do the rest. The result is images that feel genuinely intimate and like a snapshot of who you two actually are together.

A man and a woman lie on a sandy beach near the shoreline, with gentle waves surrounding them. The woman is dressed in a white dress and is leaning over the man, while the man, dressed in a white shirt and dark pants, lies on his back. They are close together, with the woman’s head near the man’s face, and they appear to be embracing or sharing an intimate moment.

Seacrest Beach Wedding Photographer

Seacrest Beach weddings tend to be on the smaller, more intimate side which honestly makes for some of my favorite work. When it's just the people who matter most, on a gorgeous stretch of Gulf Coast shoreline with that golden late-day light, everything feels elevated without trying to be.

I document your day as it actually unfolds. The nerves before. The moment you see each other. The laughing-so-hard-you're-crying stuff in between. Bold color, honest light, and zero fluff just the real story of your day.

Frequently Asked Questions About Seacrest Beach Photography

Where exactly is Seacrest Beach, Florida?

1

Seacrest Beach is a residential beach community located along Scenic Highway 30A in Walton County, Florida. It sits between Alys Beach to the east and Rosemary Beach just to the west, in the eastern corridor of South Walton part of the broader Emerald Coast region. It's known for its quieter atmosphere, wide Gulf shoreline, and easy access to some of 30A's most beautiful beach stretches.

Is Seacrest Beach good for family photography sessions?

2

It's one of my favorites. The beach is less crowded than the bigger 30A names, the shoreline is wide and open, and the light during golden hour is genuinely stunning. Kids have room to run, families have space to relax, and sessions unfold at their own pace rather than feeling rushed or staged

Who should I book for family photos in Seacrest Beach?

3

Look for a photographer with real experience shooting in natural coastal light, someone who knows how to capture movement, connection, and emotion without forcing stiff poses. I've been shooting sessions in Seacrest for over 10 years and know exactly how to work the light and the location at every time of day.

How is your style different from typical beach photography?

4

Most beach photographers shoot light and airy and soft, washed-out tones that look pretty but don't necessarily feel real. My style is bold and natural. Seacrest Beach has rich emerald water, white sand, and dramatic skies… I photograph it the way it actually looks, with honest color and real emotion. Ten years from now these images will still look like you, not like a trend.

What time of day is best for Seacrest Beach photos?

5

Sunset is the most popular, warm golden light, dramatic Gulf skies, that glow that makes everything look incredible. Sunrise is the move if you want a nearly empty beach, soft even light, and a more calm, intimate feel. I'll help you figure out which fits your family best based on the season and what you're going for.

How far in advance should I book?

6

For summer dates, 4–6 weeks minimum — June and July book fast, and the week of July 4th goes almost immediately. Spring break and fall dates move quickly too. If you have a specific vacation week in mind, reach out as early as possible so we can lock in your preferred golden hour slot.

Can you photograph weddings and engagements at Seacrest Beach?

7

Absolutely. Seacrest is actually a beautiful and underrated spot for intimate beach weddings and engagement sessions, the quieter atmosphere and proximity to Alys Beach's stunning architecture give you options that feel more personal and elevated than the busier locations on 30A.
