We photograph families at scenic public beach access points and coastal locations throughout the Emerald Coast…from Destin to Panama City Beach, including all the iconic sections of 30A like Rosemary Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, Alys Beach, Seacrest and Inlet Beach.
<br>I choose locations based on light, parking, tide conditions, and your family’s vibe so your images look timeless, natural, and beautifully connected. -
There are two tasteful ways to photograph large groups:
A) One Extended Family Session:
Add extra family members to a single session (up to six included, then $50/person). This is ideal when grandparents, cousins or multiple households want one unified gallery.B) Back-to-Back Personalized Sessions:
Each family books the session type that fits them (Half, Full, or Sunset). After individual galleries, we photograph multi-family group shots complimentary to celebrate everyone together.
This approach gives each household its own images plus heirloom group photos without rushing or crowding one session. -
No, sessions are photographed at public access beach points we select. This ensures ideal light, space to move, and an stress-free experience for your family. If you’re in a private community, I’m happy to guide you on access or alternative nearby spots that photograph beautifully.
-
As early as possible! Especially for sunset sessions. There is only one sunset each evening, and these premium time slots fill quickly during peak travel seasons. Booking when you reserve your vacation dates gives you the best chance to secure your preferred time and location.
-
Florida weather can include fast-moving showers, but most don’t last long. I monitor forecasts daily. If rain is predicted for your session, we will adjust the time or reschedule when possible. Over many years shooting on 30A, rain hasn’t fully canceled many sessions, flexibility and planning keep us on track
-
Depending on date and season, your session may be photographed by Lisa or Makayla. Both photographers share the same elevated style and brand vision, as showcased in our online gallery, a consistent look and feel you recognize as our signature.
-
Each session type is designed around a distinct light and mood:
Half Beach Sessions are generally brighter and slightly cooler in tone due to timing.
Full Sessions vary between warm and cool tones throughout the session.
Sunrise Sessions start warm and often move to more pastel and soft coastal hues as the sun rises.
Sunset Sessions tend to be warm and rich, especially in the golden hour before dusk.
Lighting always depends on Mother Nature, and flexibility is the key to beautiful images

Yes! Clothing plays a significant role in how your images feel. Coordinating soft neutrals, creams, blues, and subtle pastels blends beautifully with the beach environment and elevates the final gallery. You’ll receive a comprehensive clothing guide after booking to help style the entire family for your desired aesthetic.

Professional photographers often carry permits where required, and I stay informed about local rules. Generally:
Public beaches allow personal photography.
Some private communities (like Alys Beach or Rosemary Beach public common areas) may require additional permissions and I can help guide this.
We always choose locations that avoid permit surprises and ensure a smooth session experience.
This transparency helps prevent interruptions and keeps your session enjoyable.

30A photographs beautifully year-round, but every season has its own mood:
Spring (March–May):
Soft breezes, pastel skies, and mild temperatures, perfect for families with younger children.Summer (June–August):
Peak travel season with longer daylight, warm sunsets, and vibrant color. We book up quickly during these months.Fall (September–November):
Quiet beaches, golden light, and comfortable evenings, a local favorite for richer tones and relaxed gallery vibes.Winter (December–February):
Moody skies, cooler temps, and surprisingly calm beaches that photograph beautifully for editorial-style imagery. There’s no “wrong” time of year, it depends on your family’s aesthetic and travel dates. If you need guidance on timing or colors, I’m happy to assist.
-
Not necessarily but styling can elevate the final look.
Sunrise Sessions:
Soft neutrals, creams, pastels, and linens photograph beautifully in the cooler, cleaner morning light. Sunrise tends to create a more ethereal, airy feel.Sunset Sessions:
Warm tones, coastal blues, rusts, olives, and deeper neutrals harmonize with the golden evening light and richer color palette.Regardless of time of day, I send a styling guide to help you coordinate without feeling over-done. The goal is effortless luxury, never matchy-matchy.

Yes, as long as the beach access we choose allows dogs. Many sections of 30A and PCB require permits or have specific rules, so we’ll confirm ahead of time. If a dog is part of the family, they’re welcome…just bring a leash, water, and someone who can help handle them between shots.
-
Because sessions are scheduled around the sun, timing is important especially at sunrise and sunset when lighting changes quickly. If you’re running behind, we still photograph with the remaining time left in your session. To avoid rushing, plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early for parking and settling in.
I always guide you clearly on where to meet, where to park, and what to expect so the start feels seamless.

Yes, proposals and intimate coastal weddings are some of my favorite moments to document. Whether you’re planning a Rosemary Beach proposal, a small WaterColor ceremony, or a private vow exchange along 30A, I capture it with the same thoughtful direction and editorial-meets-documentary approach used for family sessions.
For larger weddings, I offer curated collections and can guide you through timeline, lighting, and location considerations specific to the beaches here.
