There’s something extra special about photographing a full family together especially when it’s done in a place that truly allows everyone to breathe, move, and just be themselves. Christina’s full beach session at Dune Allen Beach was one of those sessions where everything clicked: the light, the space, the people, and the energy.
Dune Allen is one of my favorite spots along 30A for a reason. The beach is beautifully wide (no awkward crowd dodging), parking is easy for larger groups, and there’s plenty of room for kids to run, adults to relax, and moments to unfold naturally. When you’re working with a big family like this group of nine…that space makes all the difference.
A Big Family Session That Felt Easy
What I loved most about this session was how comfortable everyone felt with each other—and it absolutely shows in the images. From walking along the shoreline together to those natural, in-between laughs and snuggles, nothing felt forced. You can tell this family enjoys being together, and that kind of connection photographs beautifully.
We made sure to capture a variety of moments:

Smaller family breakdowns
Grandparents with grandkids
Sweet parent-and-child moments
And those candid, joy-filled shots in between that usually end up being everyone’s favorites
Honestly, the happiness in this session was contagious. You don’t have to guess if they were having a good time—you can feel it through the images.
