Round Two of Beachside Magic: Sunset Family Session in Blue Mountain

Some families just make your heart smile—and this one absolutely does.

This was the second time I’ve had the honor of photographing this beautiful family while they were visiting 30A, and just like the first time, they brought all the joy, love, and fun energy with them. This time, we met at Blue Mountain Beach for a sunset session, and the sky showed off with warm tones and dramatic clouds that made every shot glow.

What I love about working with them is how effortlessly they go with the flow—they were total champs, laughing, splashing, twirling, and soaking in every second together. We captured a mix of classic portraits and real, candid moments both on the sand and in the waves, and it felt like the perfect blend of posed and playful.

It’s families like this one that remind me why I love doing what I do. Watching their bond and being able to freeze it in time is such a gift. I’m already looking forward to round three whenever they’re back in town!
