Misty & Justin’s Annual WaterColor Beach Session: Sunset Magic & Family Traditions

Some families have a tradition of carving their names in the sand… Misty and Justin carve theirs into time.

Every year, this beautiful family returns to WaterColor along Florida’s scenic 30A coast to make memories, reconnect, and—our favorite part—capture their story through timeless beach photography.

As always, Misty selected a sunset session, and somehow, she always brings the magic. From coordinating outfits that pop perfectly against the sky, to letting her kids be themselves on the shoreline, Misty and Justin create an atmosphere that’s effortless, joyful, and full of love.

This year’s session was no different—just look at that sky! The storm clouds rolling out, the burst of light on the horizon, and those dreamy reflections in the tide… it was coastal perfection.
